Welcome to Health Friendly

Creating access to more nutritious food & better health

Our Mission: Build a future where every community has reliable access to nutritious food that supports longer, healthier lives.
To this end, the Health Friendly Food Alliance (HFFA) ensures that healthy food incentives provided to not-for-profit Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Veteran Supporters, and Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHCs) put more nutritious food on the table by leveraging the wide assortment and low pricing of existing food retailers. Together, we seek to build stronger families and healthier communities.

An Urgent Need

Due to a lack of affordable technology,
thousands of  food assistance programs in the US can’t use the donations they receive in a way that takes full advantage of their local retailers’ pricing and healthy assortments.
‍
The Health Friendly card changes the game and lets recipients shop for the healthy foods they need and prefer, while also absorbing much of the operational costs of existing food assistance programs.

Our Solutions

Reach more people, provide healthier food

Health Friendly supports food pantries, veteran support organizations, hospitals, senior services, and Federally Qualified Healthcare Clinics by providing food benefit cards at significantly below market cost.
